That I May Know Him

Philippians 3:7-14
To know Christ is to be free from burden of sin, sickness, sorrow and condemnation. To know Him is to be full of joy and hope that provides an anchor that is sure and steadfast in any storm of life. To know Jesus Christ is to have the unfathomable wisdom of God and the power of God. To know Him is to be UNSTOPPABLE.

Anybody who knows Jesus Christ will live forever.

This is because it is God who reveals Jesus Christ to people. To know Jesus Christ is to have hope. If you have Jesus Christ, you will have the power that creates, heals and delivers.

To reign in the next world, you have to forsake this one.

Paul said everything that happens to be gain for him; he counted as loss for Christ. We will start our discussion from this premise. To reign in the next world, you must forsake this world. We know already that this present world is going to perish and all the wealthy in it will be burnt into ashes. God will renovate this earth with fire. If this is going to be the case, it is good for you to pitch your tent with those who are going to live in the next world. You must be ready to forgo everything to get to the next world. We have an example in Genesis 19:17 and 26.

Your Soul is Too Precious: Do Not Lose It

The Bible considers the exchange of the riches of this world for your life as a very reasonable deal. The richest man ever to live, King Solomon, said in Proverbs 13:8 for what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul? OR what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Surprisingly, even the devil knows that your soul is very precious than the wealth you have. Look at Job 24; and Satan answered the Lord, and said skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
Do not let anything in this world prevent you from getting into Heaven. If you lose God, you have lost everything.
