DON’T BE LUKEWARM
2 Thessalonians 2:1-14

“So because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” – Revelations 3:16

In Revelations 3:16, our Lord Jesus Christ revealed that, those who are neither hot nor cold, in other words, those who are lukewarm, will be spued out of His mouth. Lukewarm Christians are the compromising Christians. They go to Church alright but they are not committed to the things of the Lord. They are ready to move wherever the wind blows and do not care how the Lord feels about their actions. These are people who go to Church alright but whose lives do not reflect what God intends them to be. They are not shining as the light of the world and are not attracting people to Jesus.

The anti-Christ will surely be made known before the Lord will appear to take His own. In 1 Thessalonians 5:3, it is revealed that when the world will believe that there is peace and safety, then sudden destruction shall come. Do you judge yourself as one who by the mercy of God shall escape the wrath to come?

Be fervent in the Lord so that, that day will not take you unawares.

Good morning.
