DAVID’S FAITH

{1 Samuel 17:50}

FOCUS TEXT
“So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.” (1 Samuel 17:50 NIV).

Believers in God through Jesus Christ you are blessed.
Praise the Lord; He will not failed those who trust in Him, amen.

Today’s Christian Wisdom is a word of knowledge for the believers.
Our Focus Text (1 Samuel 17:50) is cutout from the story recorded of David (a man after God’s heart), who later became King (the second king) of Israel. Still on the issue of faith; faith remains the only linking protocol to the heart of God. “So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him.” Here, you will realize that David’s faith was made manifest when he saw victory on the black eyes of defeat. David went to contend with Goliath as a physical small boy, but was accompanied by a supernatural great God. This is the victory that we have, even our faith. The bible hid nothing from us concerning David, we also know his flaws, but he was listed among the names of the faithful. So we can see from here that a faithful living is not a complete perfect life lived from the day of birth till the day of death; it is a changed life lived hence for the glory of God, to obey and follow God’s leading. No matter how your past has been, your decision to change alone can be counted for you as faith, change for good –REPENT AND BE SAVED TODAY.

MAIN LINE:
God’s way is not the ways of men, God’s word has told you to believe and confess your belief; believe me, there is nothing else to add or subtract that matters most to God other than this, follow God in the direction He is commanding you to come –this is the faith we are talking about.

PRAYER: Father, strengthen me in faith in Jesus name.

CONFESSION:
“My faith in God is growing; it is growing in the speed of light, Amen.”

WISH: God bless you more.
